London City Airport (LCY) has launched a new travel portal created to provide travelers with information about COVID-19 testing requirements on departure and arrival for destinations from the airport. In addition, the new portal set up an opportunity for passengers to directly book flights to their favorite summer destinations at the lowest possible price.

On April 20, 2021, London City Airport announced having launched the London City Airport Travel Portal, which provides passengers with the latest news on planned summer destinations from the airport, including new routes to Jersey, Gibraltar, Spilt, and San Sebastian. The new portal also contains up-to-date information regarding the entry requirements for particular countries as well as relevant data of the COVID-19 rates and a need of wearing a face mask.

“For the time being, there is a lot more for passengers to consider when making their travel choices. We hope our new travel portal will help demystify the experience as well as inspire them to discover some of our amazing UK and European destinations this summer”,

Neil Dillon, the Marketing Director at London City Airport was quoted in the statement.

“With the COVID-19 vaccination program ramping up across Europe, the portal will be regularly updated to capture the easing of restrictions across all our key markets and will help passengers shape their summer 2021 travel itineraries,” Dillon added.
